A traditional 15th Century pub and inn positioned along the scenic valley of the River Misbourne in the Chiltern Hills.Brought to you by the Michaels family owners of the Bricklayers Arms in Flaunden Hertfordshires' Dining Pub of the Year 2009 awarded by the The Good Pub Guide. The Nags Head Inn serves an English and French fusion menu which has now won it several awards not to mention the only pub featured on the front cover of the much-coveted Michelin Guides' Eating out in Pubs 2010.The newly refurbished Nags Head keeps all of its original features including a large inglenook fireplace and low oak beams and many new features including a new bar and stylish new furnishings throughout. The Nags Head was a favourite of childrens' author Roald Dahl and is featured in the book Fantastic Mr Fox which is now a Wes Anderson animated movie featuring voice overs from George Clooney Meryl Streep Bill Murrey to name but a few.
