Welcome The Peacock is a traditional friendly pub situated in the town centre of picturesque Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District National Park.We offer Bed and Breakfast accommodation and have six bedrooms each with en-suite bath or shower washbasin and WC tea and coffee making facilities TV and radios. Wifi Internet access from all rooms.The 'Master' bedroom boasts a four-poster bed. We also have three other double bedrooms one family room ( to sleep four ) with connecting room (one double and two single beds) and one twin family room which can sleep 3 (one double bed and one single). The Master bedroom has wheelchair access.Since the old stable conversion is a 200-year old building each room is quite distinctive and have exposed beams and stonework while the building itself has many charming nooks and crannies and as it is separate to the pub you will have exclusive separate accommodation to the pub itself!Our bar is a great meeting place and we have a comfortably furnished dining area offering varied menu with a wide range of specials.The many attractions of the Peak District are within easy reach as is Alton Towers.
