A quintessential Cotswolds pub and restaurant with five ensuite rooms equidistant between Oxford and Cheltenham right on the Oxfordshire Way with its wonderful walking and close to picture perfect Burford. The Swan at Ascott has a far reaching reputation for freshly prepared food and is endorsed by Michelin's Eating out in Pubs Guide as well as Alastair Sawday's Guide to Pubs and Inns and the Good Beer Guide. Rooms are characterful but contemporary and start from just £67.50 per room per night including our renowned breakfast which features traditional full English alongside steak and eggs or pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and more. Each room has been individually designed but all have fine linens fluffy towels and beautiful bathrooms. For a treat our Cocoon Room is nestled in the eaves with oak beams an in-room underlit bath and pretty views. Two cosy bars and an intimate restaurant tempt our guests to stay and enjoy award winning dishes made with fresh local produce while those who venture out can explore all that the Cotswolds has to offer. We serve a range of lovingly kept cask ales both locally produced and guest ales as well as an extensive wine list.
